Hello, I’m Idalia Montellano Velazquez

Those that know me would say I’m a personable, fun and caring type of gal. There is nothing more enjoyable then making people happy and staying positive, that’s my motto. Friends and family say that I am young at heart, but wise with experience. I love the outdoors and I am always up for a fun adventure. I enjoy traveling and getting to know different places, cultures, lifestyles, food and fashion. I am a bit of a ‘fashionista’ and love to stay up to date in the latest trends. Most of all, I love spending time with my family. I recently got married to an incredible man named, Chris Velazquez. He is my best friend, my rock, my all… We are thrilled to begin a new chapter in life as one.

Raised in Riverside, I graduated from Arlington High in 1998. Shortly after graduating from high school I attended Riverside Community College to pursue a career in nursing. While attending school I received a job offer to work for an insurance broker as a customer service representative. As time went on I began to take an interest in how I can help customers to protect their assets and educate them by recommending the right products for their wants and needs. After building experience in the insurance industry , I decided to become licensed and I changed my career path to becoming a professional insurance agent. I now have more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.

In February 2011 I was offered the position as an independent agent with SGB Insurance Services Inc. Here I look forward to building and establishing an admirable relationship with all of my clients offering all personal lines of insurance.
